Why is SMS Security replacing the Trading PIN in Settings?

We are replacing the Trading PIN with SMS Security as the security method required when updating your personal details and settings, and making cash transfers to non-nabtrade accounts.

This change provides an extra layer of security, as each SMS security code sent to your registered mobile device is unique, temporary and cannot be reused, helping keep your accounts more secure.

While the new nabtrade platform and the current nabtrade experience operate in parallel, the Trading PIN will still serve as the second level of authentication on the current nabtrade experience.

Tip: Make sure your mobile number is up to date in your nabtrade account so you can receive your SMS security code. To update your mobile phone number complete and return a Change of Personal Details form via forms@nabtrade.com.au.
